One of the best ways to increase your WordPress website’s speed and performance is by adding a good CDN (Content Delivery Network). There are many CDNs in the market, but there’s no match for Cloudflare.
Cloudflare is one of the most popular content delivery networks that has been providing security and performance since 2010. One of the high-performance features that Cloudflare offers is called Cloudflare Enterprise; as the name suggests, it’s not meant for the average user, and rumour is that it costs a minimum of $2000 for an entry-level.
However, you can still get the benefits of Cloudflare Enterprise CDN using some of the web hosting companies that are tied up with this plan.
What is a Cloudflare Enterprise CDN
Unlike other CDNs, Cloudflare Enterprise leverages its advanced performance optimization, security, and specialized networking capabilities to provide you with a high-end content delivery network. Cloudflare uses its global data centers from 330+ edge locations worldwide to achieve lower latency numbers with Edge-caching.
Cloudflare Enterprise CDN also includes Web Application Firewall, DDoS protection, Bot Management, Dynamic Content Optimization, etc.
WordPress Hosting Providers that Offer Cloudflare Enterprise CDN
In the past, I’ve used a couple of WordPress Hosting providers that offered Cloudflare Enterprise CDN with their hosting services. Today, I’ve listed out some of the best hosting providers you can use to get the benefits of Cloudflare’s Edge Caching Infrastructure.
Best WordPress Hosting Providers

Rocket.net

Rocket.net is the first WordPress Hosting Provider that introduced me to Cloudflare Enterprise CDN. I have used them for nearly four years before moving to the Linode VPS. Rocket.net offers Cloudflare Enterprise CDN by default on all of their plans with hassle-free setup.
You can sign up and start using them just by changing the nameservers, and your website will be instantly protected and accelerated by Cloudflare. Cloudflare’s CDN also helps you eliminate the need for security and image optimization plugins.
Rocket’s Enterprise Edge includes Image optimization, Smart routing, File Compression via Brotli, Tiered Caching, etc. You can also get a WP Rocket WordPress Caching plugin for free with any Rocket.net plan.
Cloudflare Enterprise network currently has over 330 Edge locations, which helps to reduce TTFB by around 50ms.
It also comes with an easy-to-use Control Panel interface, where you can install and manage your WordPress sites, install or uninstall plugins, staging, File Manager, SSH Access, etc.
You can test the performance of Rocket.net hosting for just spending $1 for the first month. The regular price is $30 per month for a single WordPress website. Business plan cost $100 per month for 10 WordPress Installs.
Cloudways

Cloudways is another Managed WordPress provider that offers Cloudflare Enterprise CDN as a Add-on. Unlike Rocket.net, you can enable or disable Cloudflare CDN on your websites as per your requirement.
Cloudways’ Cloudflare Enterprise CDN also offers Edge Page Caching across Cloudflare’s 330+ Network, Argo Smart Routing, WAF, DDoS Mitigation, Brotli compression, Image optimization, etc.
The pricing for CDN can be cheaper than Rocket.net, based on the Cloudways’ hosting plan you choose. The CDN Add-on starts at $4.99/month per domain if you’re using fewer than 5 Domains and can cost as low as $1.99/month per domain if you have 25 domains. Each domain gets 100GB Enterprise CDN bandwidth as well.
Cloudways pricing is quite differnet than Rocket.net, with Cloudways you get to choose your server from 5 different Cloud hosting providers. The base plan from the DigitalOcean server costs $14 per month with 1TB of transfer bandwidth.
Cloudways also offers Free Object Cache Pro and Redis Cache, as well as Free Migrations. You also get Staging Environment, 24×7 Support, Automated Backups, Free SSL, Unlimited Apps, such as CMS or ecommerce applications.
You can test their hosting plans for 3 days without a credit card. Read my complete Cloudways review to know more about its pros and cons.
BigScoots

BigScoots is another managed WordPress hosting that offers Cloudflare Enterprise CDN as a performance Add-on plan called Boost. They also offer an additional performance service package for WordPress that includes Cloudflare Enterprise, along with caching optimizations via a exclsuive premium plugin.
The managed WordPress Hosting plan starts at $34.95/per month for 1 WordPress Site. If you would like to enable Cloudflare Enterprise CDN on your site, you need to pay for an add-on called Boost (includes a cache plugin), which costs $9.99 per month.
However, the Performance Services for WordPress is a bit expensive, $129.99 per month, and it includes additional performance and security benefits.
The Base Hosting plan of BigScoots offers 1 TB of bandwidth and up to 250k monthly visitors. They also offer free migrations, daily backups, and a 45 Day Money-back guarantee.
I haven’t used or tested BigScoots’ hosting yet, but I am confident that the Cloudflare Enterprise package will be worth it, considering the Edge Caching capabilities of Cloudflare.
Like the other two hosting plans, BigScoots’ Clouflare plan also includes Advanced Security, spam protections, DDoS Protection & firewall, etc.
Use Cloudflare Enterprise without Changing your Hosting (Bonus Tip)
If you’re thinking of using Clouflare Enterprise CDN without changing your current web hosting provider, then you can use a premium caching plugin called FlyingPress to do so.
FlyingPress WordPress Plugin

FlyingPress leverages your site with Cloudflare Enterprise’s full-page and edge caching to improve the performance of your WordPress website.
I have previously used FlyingPress before moving this site to the OpenLiteSpeed Server. And the best thing about this plugin is that it only costs $59/year for 1 WordPress site with full benefit of Cloudflare Enterprise CDN.
FlyingPress also offers a tool called Flying TTFB to test your website’s response time across the World after enabling Cloudflare.

FlyingPress features include Cache Preloading, Remove Unused CSS, Optimize Google Fonts, Lazy Loading, Reduce Layout Shifts, etc.
Conclusion
Using Cloudflare Enterprise CDN will greatly improve your website performance and increase the Core Web Vitals scores.
You can use any of the above mentioned hosting service providers or the premium plugin to avail the benefit of Cloudflare Enterprise without spending thousands of dollars.
