I’ve dedicated this page to sharing some of the useful tools I use. The below tools will help you if you want to start a blog or website.
All my blogs are built using self-hosted WordPress, you can read my guide on how to start a WordPress blog.
I think currently Rocket.net is the fastest WordPress hosting available on the market. They offer a Cloudflare Enterprise plan for all the sites you host with them. Zero configuration is required and they provide features like staging, daily backups, etc. This blog is hosted on Rocket.net and I recommend them; you can browse my pages to test the speed.
After using the Genesis framework for six years, I’ve decided to change it with GeneratePress. GeneratePress is a lightweight WordPress Theme that is known for its speed. The site you’re currently viewing is built on GeneratePress.
FlyingPress is a premium cache plugin that I started using recently; it does a lot of work like preloading links on mouse hover, removing unused CSS, Load Scripts on User Interaction, etc, which helps you get 100/100 performance score on the Google PageSpeed Insights. I highly recommend this plugin.
Thrive Leads is a popular Lead Generation plugin from Thrive Themes. Thrive Leads comes with drag-and-drop design elements and templates to build your forms. It also offers features like Scroll Mat, Content Lock, In-line forms, etc.
Cloudways is a managed solution to unmanaged cloud hosting providers like DigitialOccean, AWS, and Google Cloud. Even though I no longer use them, I still recommend them; recently, they also started offering Cloudflare Enterprise CDN as an add-on which is a game changer.
SEO Tools
Rank Math: After using Yoast SEO for nearly nine years, I decided to switch to Rank Math due to its performance and positive feedback from the SEO industry. Rank Math is lighter than Yoast SEO and doesn’t slow down your site.
SEMRush: I use SEMRush to do competitor analysis, keyword research, etc. It’s one of the popular SEO tools used by everyone who does SEO.
Writing Tools
Grammarly: I use the Grammarly browser extension that lets me write without having to worry about punctuation and silly grammar mistakes.
